Day 1: Arrival Day. We'll be there to greet you as you arrive to Santa Marta. We'll have an optional welcome dinner to say hi to new and/or old friends.
Day 2: Start of the trek. We'll depart the hotel in 4x4 car to the start of the trek, in El Mamey. We'll have lunch in the village and head out for our first day of hiking, around 4 hours. We'll spend the night in hammocks or beds and have dinner at camp.
Day 3: We'll wake up to breakfast in the camp, and hike around two hours until we arrive to the first indigenous village, Mutanzi. From here, we'll walk an additional 40 minutes, where we'll have lunch. Following lunch, we'll hike another four hours until we arrive to camp for the night, where we'll have dinner and hang out.
Day 4: Make it to the Lost City. We'll start early again with breakfast, and hike for an hour until we reach La Ciudad Perdida (The Lost City). We'll tour the archeological site and enjoy some free time to enjoy the healing energy of the mountain. We'll then return to camp where we have lunch, followed by hiking for about four hours to camp for the night where we'll have dinner.
Day 5: Once again, we'll start the day with breakfast at camp, and hike for about four hours to our next camp. We'll spend the rest of the day here, where we can have free time to enjoy waterfalls and swimming holes. We'll have dinner again at camp, our last night of the trek.
Day 6: We'll start early with breakfast, and hike around 3 hours to the start of the trek. Here we'll take 4x4 cars back to Santa Marta. We'll then check back in to the hotel where a comfortable bed and warm shower will be waiting for you.
Day 7: Departure Day. If you're sticking around for the extension option we'll move into our shared space, or your own accommodation if you prefer that. We know firsthand how an experience such as a difficult trek can build new bonds. We'd love to have you stay and continue fostering those connections.

Our model is to offer a pop-up adventure that would typically require taking time off from work. However, we want to continue building community and would love to stick around Colombia with everyone if they have the availability. We love the coastal city of Santa Marta as it has some amazing features, such as Tayrona National Park for hiking, rafting, sailing adventures, spectacular beaches and more.
We would like to offer the flexibility of booking anywhere from 1-3 extra weeks following the pop-up adventure to hang out with the community, and we will plan several adventure activities and fitness events. These would be booked per week, and although it is not a requirement to join, we do anticipate most folks would be working during these weeks.
Accommodation (private room in a shared house) or option to join program only
Community space for working, informal hangs, community dinners, etc.
3-4 wellness events per week (HIIT, yoga, meditation, hike)
1 full day adventure each weekend (sailing, rafting, hike, etc) which would vary each weekend
1 cultural activity a week (cooking class, fruit tasting, dance class, etc.) which would vary each week
1 community dinner each week
Other weekly events as requested by the individual group, at an additional cost
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Spain | April 2025

This Spanish island in the Atlantic Ocean has become a popular destination for adventures, remote working, and year round warm weather. The geography of this island is a haven for hikers and cyclists, as well as anyone interested in regular, wind or kite surfing. Snorkeling and scuba diving are also popular here.
We would hike Pico de las Nieves, the highest point on the island at a 1949m. We would explore this biodiverse island, taking in the views of the mountain ranges and sunken calderas and trek through the Sacred Mountains of Tejeda and even some coffee plantations.
-
This pop-up adventure would include:
4-day trek
Coffee plantation visit
Local cheese tasting
5 nights accomodation (rural hotels and guesthouses)
Breakfast, lunch & dinner each day

Day 1: Arrival Day. We'll be waiting for you in a meeting spot in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the early afternoon. We'll drive to a small, traditional town of Aguimes where we'll check in to our hotel. Afternoon will be free for exploring this historic city and its beautiful narrow streets before a group dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Day 2: We'll wake up early to a hearty breakfast and then we'll begin our big adventure! On that day we'll discover the stunning Guayadeque Canyon that runs south east along the slopes of Pico de las Nieves. We'll explore its wild landscapes, steeps slopes, winding paths and shroud of unique plants. We'll also learn about Gran Canaria's volcanic origins, see the remains of cave dwellings and some traces of lava fields from an ancient eruption.
After that, we will continue our way up to the top of Pico de Las Nieves - the highest point in Gran Canaria. Here we'll enjoy late lunch with views of local villages, amazing rock formations and forests covered with Canary pine. After that we'll continue to our hotel in Tejeda village for a well-deserved rest and a group dinner with some local dishes.
Day 3: We'll start with breakfast again and then start our hike through the UNESCO-listed mountain area around Tejeda. We'll walk uphill on a beautiful trail to reach Roque Nublo - a mysterious monolith and a landmark rock of Gran Canaria. After exploring the area, learning more about the island's rich cultural heritage and history from our guide, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to Tejeda. We'll have a relaxing evening followed by some local cheese and wine tasting and dinner.
Day 4: After breakfast we will transfer towards the Montañón Negro - one of the youngest volcanoes on Gran Canaria. The landscape here looks very different and as we'll continue the trek to Reserva Natural Especial de los Tilos, we'll be able to discover a very different terrain with a lot of greenery and forests. After lunch in a local village we'll head to our accommodation in Agaete - coastal fishing village.
Day 5: After breakfast we'll set off to explore the beauitful Agaete Valley bursting with an abundance of flora and fauna. We'll also have a chance to discover numerous farms that are dedicated to cultivation of fruit trees and tropical fruits such as papaya, mango, avocados as well as delicious coffee crops which are unique in Europe! We'll then visit one of the local coffee plantations to learn about coffee production and of course to taste it! After that we'll return to Agaete for a relaxing afternoon and a farewell dinner.
Day 6: Departure Day. After breakfast, we will transfer back to Las Palmas. If you're sticking around for the extension option we'll move into our co-living space, or your own accommodation if you chose that option. We know firsthand how an experience such as a difficult trek can build new bonds. We'd love to have you stay and continue fostering those connections.
